Two weekends ago, Addie Kate and I traveled to Lexington just for the day on Sunday. While I was at a reunion for the school I where I taught when we lived in Lexington, Lake Murray Elementary, my parents took Addie to visit her great-grandmother, Mema.
When I walked in, I could tell that Addie was having a blast. She couldn't wait to show me what she had found - Mema's large collection of dolls. Addie loved all the "babies" and just played and played the whole time we were there. It was so much fun seeing her enjoy the same things I did with Mema as a child. I just can't wait for Addie to color well - Mema loved to color with us!
