Happy 3rd Birthday to our Precious Drew!

Oh, my precious, sweet, baby boy Drew. You went and turned three! I can't believe it. I tried to keep you from growing up, but you just did it anyway! You love so many things, sweet boy. You love your sister more than anything in this world. You love your Mommy and Daddy. You love trains. You have watched The Polar Express every day we have let you, since Christmas. You love Thomas the Train, Chuggington, trains that have no name - you love them all. You really loved the one in Disney World that we got to ride as much as we wanted. Speaking of Disney World, those will be some of my happiest memories of you. You had such a love for that place - your happiness and excitement and surprise was just contagious! You have such a sweet, loving, kind, giving, sharing heart. You always, always, always think about your sister. You share with her and find ways to make sure you can help her or make her happy. I love this about you sweet boy, and hope more than anything that you keep that heart guarded and true. You know Jesus lives in your heart, and I believe he truly does as sweet as you are. You have learned so much starting preschool this year! You can completely dress yourself (except shoes and socks), you are almost completely potty trained, you know your numbers and can count perfectly. We are working on your letters and learning to put on your own shoes. You are very independent for your age. You want help and accept help, but you can DO so much more than a lot of three year olds. I am impressed with that pretty regularly. Now that you are three, your beloved passy has to go. It really needed to go a while back! This should be an adventure, as it's your favorite thing. You are already sleeping in a big boy bed and doing great, for the most part. You are wanting to give up your naps now though. As long as you are sweet, it's ok, but sometimes you become a bear when you don't nap! Oh Drew, how I love you so. I had no earthly idea I could love anyone else as much as I loved your sister, but I do. My heart is just twice as full now and it's the best feeling ever. Thank you so much for being YOU sweet boy. I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. Happy Birthday precious one. I love you, you sly dog. Mommy.

To celebrate your birthday, we invited some friends and family to the park to play, have some hot dogs, and ride the train, of course! You loved that little (make-shift) train, and that was just perfect for your party.

These boys. Born just hours apart. I love it.
And if this isn't Drew's personality, I don't know what is. Silly boy. Always so fun to be around!

 Cute Landon! Love him!

I nearly forgot his favors - train whistles and cute RailRoad Crossing cookies --
I think the parents were pretty thankful for the train whistles!

The kids loved playing on the not-yet-operable splash pad!

Mom guided Drew to pass out the favors to his friends. Thankful for her always!

Mama's boy for sure!

It was a sweet little party. Lots of love and fun. Perfect for a three year old!

And the next morning, we had a happy little three year old at our house!

 He LOVED opening his gifts!

The rest of us were a little tired. But we just love this boy to pieces and thank God daily for him. Happy Birthday precious boy! Thank you for making our family complete!
