Wow, I took a ton of pictures of our little man these two weeks! You can tell when you come out of that newborn coma - the pictures get more plentiful, and a lot cuter!
Hard sleeping!
I can't get enough of his big, gummy smiles!
And that tongue! I guess it's all newborns, but his seems to be out all the time! We have to explain to Addie that he's not being ugly, he just doesn't know any better!
I love how wrinkly he looks in this picture. All of his clothes are so big on him! At his 2 month appointment, he was below the 10th perccentile for weight and above the 90th for height! I ran a long running stitch to take up the sides on nearly all of his clothes, because he needs the bigger ones for length! Geez!
It's bad how much I love this little lip poked out too! He can roll it out quicker than anyone I know!
And those baby toes -can't get enough of them either. It's ridiculous how much I play with them!
All that hair. Beautiful, gorgeous hair. I love it and I adore how it stands up all over his head!
Our little burrito about to go to bed! He's already outgrown these swaddle blankets in length. We now have him in the large ones and almost have to wrap them around twice!
He adores this bouncey seat! Here he's sleeping in it, but he learned at a young age how to make it bounce and how to grab the little toys that hang down. He likes it a lot more than Addie ever did, which has been a godsend with his reflux.
See! I can't get enough of these tootsies!
Little man still loves to be swaddled, even with a nap. I worry about this, because eventually we will have to break it, but for now, we love a swaddle!
And the play gym. Drew also loves this thing more than Addie ever did. I mean he loves it! It is SO cute to watch him grab the turtle, blowfish, and little cards (Which, I might add, are the dumbest thing ever to put on a playgym. What is the infant going to read and study them? By the time they are old enough to even enjoy them, they aren't going to want a playgym! Geez Louise!) Right now Drew enjoys the noise they make.
My happy boy after waking up from a nap. He wakes up so happy, and I love it! He's here in Addie's moses basket, which she loved dearly. He will take a nap in it, but he doesn't near love it like she did. And in fact, he's so long, he is barely fitting in it anymore! And these aden and anais blankets are from heaven. They are so soft, and big, and stretchy, and swaddle perfectly for my summer baby!
He's looking out the window here, which he also does in his crib. He loves to see the birds and trees and blue sky!
I love how you can go from this, above, to this, below, in a matter of seconds!
Sheer exhaustion here - can play himself to sleep, and I love it!
This picture looks so funny - like his head is not on right!
Oh, there are no words at all to describe how in love we are with this little man! Thank you God for this precious, precious angel!
