Misc. end of August and September 2012

A few miscellaneous pics of our daily life towards the end of August and through September:

We had a little family get together of August birthdays at Tommy's grandparents house. There are tons of August birthdays in his family.

Drew's jon jon kept coming unbuttoned, but he was so cute out there, running and playing. Here, with his hands behind his back.
And here with one of Tommy's cousins and her friend.

A quick pic of my two after church:

The iPhone just isn't good enough to catch a good picture of two at a time!

If you can see this one upside down - it's Tommy all laid out with Drew doing the exact same right beside him. And I loved it.
Drew digging in my dad's pockets:
 Sleeping peacefully...
My birthday cake from my students!
 Another peaceful night's sleep:
Addie Kate's Proud Parent Page for school:
One of Drew's first days with Mrs. Valeri. I love to get pics from her throughout the day!
Addie Kate was laying on the floor watching TV, and Drew just came and laid right beside her. He dearly loves his big sister.
I had to try a pair of pants on him one morning, so I just undid his pajamas and put them on. And he still had on his bib from breakfast. It was precious.
Tommy went to Clemson and came back with a #2 jersey for our little #2. He'll be able to wear it in about 5 years!

And I can't leave out my little tiger girl! This is AK's 3rd season in this dress that Mom smocked her. It'll be so sad when she's outgrown it!
Another picture from Mrs. Valeri of a wheelbarrow ride  that Mr. Ben took them on!
 More crazy sleeping baby:
At the Greek Fest in Columbia - we stood out like sore thumbs in our orange!
Lawd, this child does love a face painting!

My two LOVED running and playing all over the grounds. And it was a great spring night for it (please forgive Drew's spare outfit!)!
Addie Kate wanted to ride the Tilt a Whirl. Tommy was busy with Drew so I had to go on it with her. It was AWFUL. I begged her to stop spinning it and the little turkey wouldn't. I felt bad for hours afterwards!

Addie Kate posing for her one last hurrah in another dress my mom smocked her. I loved the colors in this one.
And Drew, in a sailor jon jon that I loved, with a quick pic before bathtime!

Another clothes trying-on session. Right over the pj's!

A self portrait of Addie Kate:
And some outside enjoyment in the nice fall weather:

He loved pushing this shopping cart. I had to sell it at consignment. I didn't want him getting made fun of!
I loved this one. This is a typical sleep position for Drew, but notice the pappy on his neck!
Mom and I took him shopping with us one afternoon, and the car worked wonders! He was so happy. Then he broke the strap and I saw him out the corner of my eye running through a store! And gracious does he, and I, love the squeeze food! I can get a veggie and fruit in him, and he can feed it to himself, and it's easily portable!
One of his silly faces. I wish I had them all on camera.
I was outside reading a magazine, watching him play, but then he wanted to climb up and read with me.

And yes, this is how he rides on this -
I dressed him like a big boy one day. And only one day. And I nearly couldn't stand it. It was cute in it's own way!

And my girl - she had picture day!
More pushing of the buggy and outside playing. AK is getting so good on her big girl bike!

Three of the four Sweatman grandbabies - check Drew out. Bless him, the only boy!
And a trip to Shealy's - Drew's first corn on the cob! Clearly he has a little to learn!
