Mother's Day as a Mother of Two

My first Mother's Day as a mommy of two was different! It was nice to be at home and the day be focused on me for once! We are always traveling for holidays, so it's nice when there's one that we can be at home for. However, we were still sleeping very little and I was still uncomforable and big, so there were hangups! We hadn't ventured out too much as the four of us, but did want to go get brunch. By the time we got out, we may as well have eaten lunch! Either way, my sweet babies and husband were good to me, and my heart was full with love for all the wonderful blessings I have!

Addie Kate insisted on getting me flowers, and pink tulips are my favorites. It was funny this year - you could tell she had been in preschool and been talking about it. I had been given a piece of paper and pink paint one day the week before, to do my handprints on, and AK painted her handprints right on top of them and made me a little gift. Precious!  (Tommy also came through on some new Pandora, a scout bag, and something else that I cannot remember!)
