St. Peter's Easter Egg Hunt 2011

At the St. Peter's Egg Hunt this year, Addie actually moved up and was really "hunting" for her eggs! For the past three years, she's been in the 0-2 group where eggs were just thrown out on the front lawn. This year they were barely hidden, but were hidden nonetheless. Addie had a blast as usual!

She enjoyed having so many cousins there this year. It's funny how the Sanders family takes up their own table. It grows each year and I love it! Next year Drew and Benjamin will be joining them!

Addie is an amazing color-er! As said by her teachers and friends. And it's the truth. She does as good a job as I do! When we look back at what we've colored, I can't tell who's colored what!
Such a mess!

LOVE it when we capture this sweet smile!

See we have two baskets? Tommy grabbed the bigger one, the one I'm holding, on the way out the door because he didn't think Addie's would be big enough. I thought that was so funny, but she did end up getting the 2nd most eggs!
Addie wouldn't let me take any from her and put in the other basket!
Here Addie was upset because Sanders wouldn't take a picture with her. Ha! That's Alice's baby belly sticking out in the picture!

I could NOT believe she hugged the Easter bunny! She is growing up so much. She used to literally climb up us when around a character like this! I guess she's proving that she's ready for Disney!
Our sweet little family of three! Addie has recently started grabbing both our necks in pictures and hugs. Love it!
And the two pregnant cousins! We were due on the same day, and scheduled for a c-section on the same day - May 4th - a week and a half from this day! I think my stomach looks like a torpedo!

Spring Break

Tommy was working out of town, and I was big and miserable, so Addie Kate and I headed to Lexington for the week. I figured a few extra sets of hands would be helpful! Addie had a great time as usual!

Mom was excited to make her egg tree with Addie. We always made one growing up, then as we got older and busier, we just quit doing it. It brought back great memories watching my little girl out there hanging eggs on the same tree I used to!

Sassy has started posing for the camera. And I do love it!

She's always up for a little jig!

Their finished product!

Mom and Addie are always cooking up something. This night for dessert Addie made her own pudding. Mom let her shake it until it was ready, which she loved!

And you have to have whipped cream! We never have this at home!
Then Paul and Susan came over another night, and did a little egg hunt for Addie. Paul actually hid them this year, and Addie really enjoyed hunting for them...

and counting them...

and then sorting them by color! Aunt Sue, kindergarten teacher extraordinaire!
Of course we dyed eggs. Each year it's in the nude, and each year it gets more fun!

Daddy being out of town mean we skyped. Addie loves this (as you can see)! I hate, hate, hate this picture of me, but it's a good little reminder to myself of what the end of pregnancy feels like! (I had Drew 5 days after this picture!)

We went to the zoo with Heather, Lawson, and Landon on Tuesday, and I paid for it for the next two days! I did fine at the zoo, but I about died as soon as we got home and for the days following. Yuck! Addie had fun though, so that's all that mattered. I tried so hard to enjoy and make fun every day that I had with just my one child! (Unfortunately I didn't have the camera at the zoo, and Heather's busy cooking a baby too, so I haven't bothered her for pictures yet!) We also both got haircuts and picked strawberries. Addie love, love, loved picking strawberries and did a great job! We were only out there about 5 minutes and we came home with a basket full of actual good ones! Ha! The camera battery was dead when we got there, so we didn't have any pictures. But, you can see above, she was dressed appropriately for the occasion! Everyone loved that I matched her attire to the occasion - does everyone not do that?

Trike -a- Thon

Addie Kate's preschool does a fundraiser for St. Jude's called Trike-a-Thon. They set up a little track in their parking lot and all the kids brought their tricycles. They raised money and earned little prizes (AK got a t-shirt), and the whole thing was adorable! Addie isn't very interested at all in riding her tricycle, but on that day, she loved it! Tommy was able to go watch her and take some pictures, which I was thankful for, since I was trying to save every day possible!

Her silly, I'm nervous face. I can't stand it.

She was trying to give her daddy and thumbs up!

Love that sweet face!
