Greenville really does have so much cool stuff to offer. We just have to find the time to tak advantage of it all! I just learned that the South Carolina Children's Theater does some different small-scale performances throughout the year. Addie and I were able to catch the last one before the end of the school year. The SCCT gets together with various performers from The Greenville Symphony Orchestra to act out children's books. This one was
Where The Wild Things Are, which is one of my personal favorites. (And if you haven't read it, please do, and certainly do not let the movie deter you from it!) Hopefully, Timbre Tales will continue and we'll be able to go to all of them when school starts back!

Max led the crowd in a "wild rumpus!" (if you don't know what I'm talking about, read the book!)
Afterwards, the percussionist invited the children to come play with the various instruments he brought with him. It was REALLY hard for me to get pictures, but AK was so cute!
