Happy Mother's Day Mimi!

After church on Mother's Day, we gave my mom her present. It was also her birthday, but since she had her party, she celebrated it on Friday. For both gifts we were able to get her some beautiful pearls, thanks to Big T being gone to China this year!

Happy Mother's Day Mom! You never truly understand the love for a mother and her child, and all the sacrifices they made for you (and you will make for your child), until you become a mother yourself. I just pray all the time that one day I will both be as good a mom as my mother was to my brother and me, and that Addie Kate and I will have the same relationship that my mother and I do. Being a teacher, I have seen some cases of motherhood that greatly upset me. How some mothers can act they way they do is beyond me. Thank you mom for everything. I know that I was truly blessed to have a mom like you growing up.
