The day after Christmas is always my favorite. Our Christmas is so busy that, other than the initial Santa and family gifts, I look forward most to the day after. We relax, we play, and we just enjoy being together. That is what is most important to me during this season.
We did, however, enjoy a few more fun family things. We watch the Tigers beat LSU in a nail-biter that was wonderful. Both kids stayed up past midnight and were as happy as can be!
We then went to see the Lights Before Christmas really quick before they were all tucked away for another year. I negotiated with Tommy for me to take both kids, and he take down the tree! Olivia and her mother joined us, which was really the best part for Addie Kate!
One last picture of the kids' trees before taking them down. We are never sick of Christmas decor and always sad to see it go!
And lastly, Drew, who has the biggest sweet tooth ever, just couldn't stand not eating all the candy from our stockings. Here I caught him eating through the foil wrapper of spicy cinnamon gum! Geez!
Goodbye 2012! You were a busy, changing one for us. We were quite excited to see what 2013 had to bring!
