Tommy treated me to a fabulous snowskiing mini-vacation. It was my first time snowskiing, which surprises even me! It was a rocky start- I seriously hated every minute of it and could not figure out how anybody on Earth thought that was fun. Later, much later, I decided it
possibly could be. If I knew how to stop (still, to this day) I really think it could be. Once I learned to control myself a little bit (and I do mean a little bit), I would go
flying down the mountains, which scared me to death. So, we have a ways to go, but all in all, it was a blast! And a long overdue little vacation with just adults!
Here's the four of us: (Notice Tommy
not in a jacket! It was cold, but once we got dressed and moving it was toasty!)

I look like such a DORK! If this becomes a regular activity for us, I have got to get some cute ski gear!

This was after we had a little break in the lodge, where it was HOT. Tommy and Will could no longer take and proceeded to ski like this the rest of the afternoon. I even lost a layer, which is hard to believe as cold natured as I am!

(All of these pictures were on Appalachain Mountain. We skiied the next day at Sugar. Shannon took all the pics as I did not bring my camera!)
And this is what AK did while we were gone:
Mimi and Gorga took her to the zoo:
(check out this bear's position!)

My sweet little preppy, pink and green angel:

(My mom made her this cutie-pa-tootie outfit!)

I love this picture!

They got to feed the giraffes, which grossed out AK and my mom!

I hate there isn't a picture of her actually feeding them!

Here's the "llama, llama, red pajama" as AK calls them! Apparently you can feed them too, which mom said was also gross!

Addie called me (while I was at school) when she was at the Howler Monkey exhibit. Even my kids could hear them. They were loud, and she still talks about them!

Love that the baby had to come with her too!

Addie riding the tiger, naturally!

I guess this is on the playground at the zoo? I don't know for sure, but I do love my little girl sliding! I love this look on her face at this little boy!

And some playing in the man cave/playroom: (love the slip/pants combo!)

And got some one-on-one time with Uncle Paul and good ole
Go Dog Go! Ha!

Addie did get to see her other grandparents and even great-grandparents, but I don't have pictures from there. All in all, I don't think she missed us very much!
