We love December! So many fun things to do!
We took the kids to see Frozen, where three of us fell in LOVE with the movie! I'm sure you can figure out which three!
Drew does really well in movies. It always surprises me.
We went to the Zoo Lights with Lawson, Landon, and Anna Kate. It's always more fun with friends.
I have no idea how Addie Kate ended up NOT in a Christmas outfit!
My little sweet in a precious church outfit. I know these days are numbered. Daddy pretty much can't stand them.
Drew had his first preschool Christmas program. It was pretty much precious and hilarious at the same time. And I loved it. He does SO WELL at school. Listens and obeys so much better than at home. He did his little hand motions and sang his songs perfectly.
It was pretty much the sweetest thing ever.
And everything was all fun and sweet until he got back in the line with his teacher to go to his class, and all hell broke loose. This child, who has cried every single morning that I've dropped him off, just could not bear the thought of us leaving him again in the same day. It pretty much nearly broke my heart.
Addie Kate and I (with a tiny bit of help from Drew) made our gingerbread house. They get better and more creative each year.
I was unloading Drew's backpack and saw this bracelet. He just looked up at me and said, "I made that for you Mommy." And I melted. This boy has his mama's heart.
In Drew's abounding love for trains, but not road trips, we took him to the SC Santa Train in Winnsboro. Drew loved it. We have done Polar Express before, and it was fun too, but Addie Kate was the only child then and didn't love trains like Drew. For Drew, it was heaven on Earth. We got to go in different trains that no longer run and they turned into museums. Then we went on a ride on one of the trains that still runs, where Santa also visits, and Drew loved every minute. Big sister was not impressed and just toughed it out.

It was so cold and we were not prepared. Thankfully we keep plenty of jackets and blankets in the car.
Addie Kate went roller skating for the first time at a friend's birthday party.
She did pretty well. It was hilarious.
We celebrated Googa's birthday.

Addie Kate did our annual trip to see the Nutcracker. I love our little tradition.
We hung around to get autographs, and in hopes of seeing her friends that were in it.
Addie Kate wanted a tree with colored lights, so we got a small one for the back porch. It needed some decorations and I just thought it'd be fun to make a paper garland.
She loved it. Drew did not. Haha!
They loved finding Stella each morning. She was a mess. And made a mess multiple times this year.

Paul was cleaning out and found this old card from Addie Kate. All I can say is WOW, has she grown, and so quickly!
Addie Kate sang with her classmates before school one morning. They sang Christmas carols in Spanish.

Christmas time is SO much fun! I love that we are able to do so much with our kids and I am thankful for our many opportunities! I wish it would last longer, but then I know it wouldn't be as special. I am just already looking forward to next year!
