Christmas Card Photo

As soon as we moved in, we immediately started decorating for Christmas (which was fun since we barely had clothes to wear). And I had our Christmas cards ready to go, but thought we should document our new house with an additional picture. This is what I got. 

 We did not use them.

But I did get a good one of Paul and Sue. What? At least someone was able to benefit. I'm sure one day their family pictures will look like ours above.

Addie Kate's 5th Birthday Party

I got the idea for Addie Kate's 5th birthday party while we were in Disney. I wanted to recreate the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. I had it all planned.... but having no house, meant doing it at the local children's salon, which was fine too, and certainly easier, but 100x more expensive and not quite what I had in mind. Regardless, Addie Kate had a blast with her friends and it turned out to be just perfect.

 They walked the red carpet and the little salon girl read something about each one of them, which I thought was adorable and the other parents there loved it too. It was so funny how hesitant each one of them was to begin with!

 But this is what my princess does at the end! Ha!

Daily September 2013

Our September of 2013 in pictures: 

We went on a last beach trip to Isle of Palms. 

Breakfast at our favorite - The Sea Biscuit

And an early morning walk on the pier, coffee in hand, one last summer matching outfit hurrah! 

Obviously, I love pictures of my sleeping baby boy. 

Aunt Ellen kept the kids for us to go to a Clemson game. They took them to ChickFilA and got balloons. They are officially the favorites! 

And my sleeping baby girl. Passed out, midday. 

Addie Kate enjoyed some tumbling lessons at a football party - ha! She loved these twins that were trying to get her to do stunts! 

This is typical of afternoons in the car, especially towards the end of the week. Kindergarten is tough stuff! 

Stinker. He loves this mining hat he got for his birthday, and loved it even more so when he realized turning the lights off in the bathroom created more of an effect! 

We made our typical trek up to Sky Top for some apples. We ate at the bakery and everything was wonderful. Gorgeous weather, everything. There was a little family birthday party there and they brought my kids one of their cupcakes. (Right after I bought them cookies.)

Fall weather is so perfect. 

We had family night at school where we watched a movie out on the field. It was fun and we stayed for about half of it That was all I could do with Drew.
