After the Animal Kingdom, we went to check into our hotel, have a snack and wash up for dinner. It was a very special night for Addie Kate. We had our appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her "princess experience," followed by dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepsisters, and the stepmother! I was so excited about this! I think I was living vicariously through her! She was so excited that she was almost speechless the entire time, which ever since Addie Kate was about six months old, has not happened! I can only imagine how she must feel to be doing all of this. It truly was dreams come true for our girl!
We did the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney. We stayed at the Hilton (which was fine, but we won't be staying there again. We will stay at a hotel that is on the monorail system next time.), and Downtown Disney was right across the street, so it worked out perfectly. We also had a character dinner that night at the Grand Floridian, so I knew better than to go into the park just for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - we'd never get in and out of there on time.
When we got there we checked in, and had to wait a bit. I walked Addie Kate around the shop that it was in, and she was in awe of all the princess paraphernalia there. She was in little girl heaven, and I loved it. This was also something that we prepped her for. We told her she could pick out one new princess dress while we were there. I knew we'd be going to eat dinner with Cinderella (but she didn't - one of mommy's many planned surprises!), so I geared her towards that dress (plus that's one we didn't already own).
I told the "Fairy Godmothers" at the boutique and they had her a dressing room all set up. When it was her turn, one of the fairy godmothers walked us to her dressing room, and as she opened the door, she said "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!" Addie's dress was all laid out for her.
You can see her nerves, and my excitement in this picture above. It was ridiculous how excited I was! I just love, love, love seeing her so spellbound!
I also was glad that I told them to get her the next size up in the dress. It was very itchy, as I knew it would be, and I think the bigger size helped a bit. (Plus when you are paying $70 for a dress-up dress, you want that booger to last as long as possible!) We avoided a meltdown, thankfully, but it was touch and go there for a bit - see below!

She's such a priss. She holds her dresses out all the time to walk like a princess. Even more so here! She still just did not know what to think! She adores dressing up. She does it at least once a day. So this was the ultimate for her. When we dress up at home, she dons the jewelry, shoes, dress, crown, etc., but never this much. She loved it.
This was priceless. She had such a good time and enjoyed it so much. I loved every minute of it. She'll tell you that lots of things were her favorite on our trip, but this is always mentioned.
