Addie Kate started gymnastics in the fall, and in January, she had her first parent observation night. She takes gymnastics at a big gym, which has a second story observation, but it's still hard to always see her and her class. I was excited to see what all she could do! She takes gymnastics at 4:15, so unfortunately, I was the only one (and Drew) that could attend. Tommy was out of town, but I tried to keep him updated throughout the "show."
Baby brother, and his boogery nose, was less than thrilled, but still a good sport!
AK was perturbed here because her bow kept falling out. We were late on this day, of all days, and I didn't get a chance to fix her hair in the correct gymnastics fashion.
Her teacher finally just removed it for her.
I swear, getting water, is one of her favorite parts! I rarely let her get water out of a fountain, so she thinks it's "cool!"
She got to go on the big beam, and there's no word for how excited she was!
They do this a lot, and AK loves it - jumping on the trampoline with her arms over her head. It is difficult to do, so I guess it's developing those core muscles.

Look past this little girl, who was a brat by the way, at my girl on the rings. This was the first time she'd done this, and did great!

I enjoyed this, but it was difficult doing it alone, dragging Drew around, using my video camera, regular camera, and iphone. Geez! Now that she's taking gymnastics at night, I'm in hopes she can have a bigger audience in the spring!
