August is a bittersweet month for us. We are squeezing in the rest of our summer activities, with the looming thought of summer ending and school beginning.
Addie Kate and I left Drew at home and went to Greenville. We had a great girls time, visiting friends and doing some of our favorite things.
The Children's Museum with Olivia:
And Sabroso's, just the two of us! Mmmm!
A few other little daily pictures:
Drew gathered up a bunch of cars and brought them to Tommy saying, "Daddy play cars!" Of course Tommy dropped what he was doing and immediately did so! Be still my heart!
A cute outfit Mom made the babes. Sent to Tommy out of town. He wasn't a fan of Drew's Jon Jon. It was a little different, but I liked it!
Addie Kate and I finally using her Christmas gift and baking up some treats. Definitely more fun than tasty, but whatever.
We went to the park on this dreary day and had it all to ourselves!
Drew learned to roll his eyes.
We went to the library to finish up our Summer Reading Program, and we just happened to be there on the big celebration day! The kids loved the bouncey houses and slides. They also had some games that Addie Kate played, and popcorn - a favorite of my two.
Haha - Drew's eyes. Bless it. I loved those sweet outfits on my babies. Here they are putting their ants up on the window for finishing the summer reading program.
Drew was scared to death of this slide at first. Addie Kate and I finally convinced him to go down right before we left.
A little bowling with Sanders and Benjamin.
Made a "tent." Mommy is not an engineer.
Addie Kate had to go for her 5K assessment, in which she did awesome! Even the Spanish part! They gave her a homework assignment. While we were there she laid down on a piece of butcher paper and I traced her body. When we got home we had to decorate it.
She was pretty proud.
I started back to work and boy was it hard to leave them. We were finally at HOME. In our house, with no plans to move again. We had unpacked and made this house a home. And we were learning how much fun it was to be together. They were waiting excitedly for me to come home and us play, play, play!
A sweet pic of my two - climbed all the way to the top at ChickFilA. It always amazes me how much earlier Drew does things- both being a boy and being the 2nd child.
Addie Kate putting on a fashion show for me. I love my silly girl.
Margaret got married! It was another fun family wedding!
I ove this picture of the flower girls. Such innocent happiness!
I love this picture of Drew. No idea what his problem was, but it's a favorite!
And a beautiful picture of both Addie Kate and Susan. Look at AK's eyes!
Both kids danced the night away. Just danced and danced and danced. They had fun with their friends and family and just made me so happy watching them!
Definitely my boy's last time in a sailor suit. But I love it!
A mere seconds time change in this picture. What that passy does for that boy!
My nearly naked happy boy, dancing in the car.
